DIGICEL’S 8^th ANNIVERSARY PLANS IN HIGH GEAR

Friday, January 27, 2012 - (Bridgetown, Barbados):  – Digicel’s 8^th anniversary is around the corner, and the Bigger, Better network team are moving their celebratory plans into high gear.

Alex Tasker, Digicel’s Commercial Director hinted that in true Digicel style, customers can expect loads of fantastic giveaways and surprises as the company turns eight on February 11^th.

“To celebrate our milestone, there will be a treasure hunt in our retail channel with prizes of 4G handsets, plus customer appreciation activities. We have other exciting plans for our anniversary which will be unveiled soon”, he stated.

At the corporate head office, the teams have been busy working round the clock to put the finishing touches on the anniversary plans, especially the marketing and retail teams. One thing is for certain, customers will experience the passion and appreciation Digicel has for them, especially for being so loyal over the years.

Tasker also reminded customers that its Go Green initiative in the retail channel is on-going, and encourages them to drop their old handsets and chargers in the special bins in the retail channel. In keeping with Digicel’s community outreach efforts, all of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity.
