DIGICEL’S NETWORK COVERAGE IMPROVED WITH AN UPGRADED CELL SITE
Monday, January 09, 2012 - (Bridgetown, Barbados): – In its continued effort to achieve optimum island-wide coverage effort, Digicel recently upgraded their cell site in St. Peter.
The upgraded site at St. Peter’s Bay is aimed at improving the coverage in and around the areas of Road View, Mullins and Speightstown, and the commercial director at the mobile telecommunications company, Alex Tasker explained that since the upgrade the feedback was been positive.
“In addition to the areas mentioned above, our enhanced cell site also covers Gibbs and Little Battaleys and customers including businesses have been enjoying the improved service in these areas since the upgrade”, Tasker stated.
He also stated that Digicel remains committed to offering the best telecommunications service on the island, and has over the years invested significant capital in its network and cell sites to ensure customers have the Bigger, Better network experience.
