DOMINICA MUSIC FESTIVAL TRIP FOR LUCKY DIGICEL CUSTOMER
November 13th 2009 - DOMINICA MUSIC FESTIVAL TRIP FOR LUCKY DIGICEL CUSTOMER
Friday, November 13, 2009 – Bridgetown, Barbados: Lucky Digicel customer Charlene Holligan and her husband Shurrod enjoyed a special four-day get away when they attended the recently staged Dominica World Creole Music Festival, thanks to the mobile telecommunications company.
Through a Top-Up promotion ran last month, Digicel’s prepaid customers were eligible to win the prized trip for two, spending money and accommodation by topping-up with any amount on during the period.
“The Dominica World Creole Music Festival was a unique experience that we truly enjoyed. It gave us a great appreciation for that country as we were able to experience its culture first-hand.
“It was also the first time I have ever won anything from Digicel and it was very special as it served as a second honeymoon as my husband and I were married earlier this year,” Holligan explained.
Alex Tasker, Digicel’s head of Sales and Marketing, congratulated Holligan on being the winner of the promotion stating: “We were pleased to provide one of our customers with the opportunity to enjoy the thrilling experience of the Dominica World Creole Music Festival and will continue to provide such opportunities as we continue to give back to our customers through our various promotions.”
CAPTION: Charlene Holligan accepts her prize pack from Janelle Hunte, Digicel’s Marketing and Public Relations manager.
