Tuesday, July 12, 2011 - (Bridgetown, Barbados): A spectacular event filled with loads of energy and an entertaining line-up featuring the much anticipated return of Trinidad’s Machel Montano can be expected at Kensington Oval on Sunday, July 31, 2011 when Cohobblopot - one of the biggest shows of the Crop Over festival, comes off with continued support from title sponsor, Digicel.
The annual event, which is staged by the National Cultural Foundation (NFC), will also feature an extensive cast of the most popular artistes for the season including Lil’ Rick and Mr. Dale and promises to be a true cultural spectacle catering to all generations.
Alex Tasker, Digicel’s commercial director, noted that the company’s support for Cohobblopot formed part of Digicel’s overall Crop Over involvement and the company was proud to be associated with the show over the years.
“Cohobblopt is a signature event of the Crop Over festival and Digicel is pleased to be onboard for the seventh consecutive year.
