BlackBerry Internet Service* (BIS), a component of the BlackBerry Internet Solution provides a wireless push email solution designed for the individual user. With BIS you can get personal* and/or office email pushed to you allowing you to quickly respond or have the latest information at your fingertips.
With the purchase of a BlackBerry Handheld and eligible service from Digicel, a Web email account is included at no additional charge. Mail will be stored on your handheld for up to 30 days. Use it to aggregate your personal and work email all in one place.

BIS Activation
Digicel’s commitment is to provide you with an activated working BlackBerry device. We’ll worry about the activation so you don’t have to!
Required Details:
- Personal email: user id used to login to current email address.
- Password: password used to login to email account with customer’s consent.
Push eMail Service and Internet Browsing:
The BIS service allows you to integrate your BlackBerry device with up to ten (10) supported business or personal email accounts, receive and send instant messages, and browse web content while on the go.
Your personal email account is linked to the handheld device via the default Web Client account (userid@digicel.blackberry.com)set up during service activation.
Correct set-up and ongoing housekeeping of your email account is necessary for continuous service to your Blackberry. Once your email account is full then it may not accept incoming mails and thus the Blackberry service ceases to function.
