1. What is the New Digi Talk Unlimited Postpaid Plan about?

The Digi Talk Unlimited Postpaid plan offers postpaid customers unlimited minutes for local and international calling, inclusive of Digicel Caribbean Territories as well as local and regional SMS. The plan also includes unlimited data and email for one set monthly fee.

3. How do these new plans work?

-          DigiTalk Unlimited offers postpaid customers unlimited minutes @ a monthly subscription of $299.00 for:

o   Digi to Digi calls

o   Digi to Local Fixed Lines

o   Digi to Digi Regional

o   Digi to Digi Local & Regional SMS

o   Digi to LIME SMS

o   Digi to One (1) US, UK Landline or Canada number

o   Unlimited Browsing and Email access

 The plan does note include Digi to OMO mobile calls.

 

4. How can a customer get this new plan activated?

A post-paid customer can have the new Digi Talk Unlimited Plan activated at any of our conveniently located Digi Centre stores.

o   Speightstown, St. Peter

5. Is there a fee/deposit required for activation?

There will be a specific deposit required as with any Digi Talk Plan activation.

As a standard, the deposit required is twice the amount of the subscription fee; however this amount is also subject to the credit rating of the customer.

Credit Limits applicable are normally calculated at 7 times the subscription.

6. What are the standard calling rates applicable to any Digi Talk Plan?

Standard Calls

* All rates are per minute. Calls are billed per second.

* Out of bundle rates apply after all indicated bundled minutes and SMS have been depleted.

International Calls

* All rates are per minute. Calls are billed per second.

* Out of bundle rates apply after all indicated bundled minutes and SMS have been depleted.

7. What territories are included in Digi to Digi Regional calling?

*Free Regional calling applies to Digi to Digi Regional numbers ONLY

8. Can existing post-paid customers upgrade to any Digi Talk Postpaid Plan?

Any postpaid customer can upgrade to the Digi Talk Postpaid plans. (However customers upgrading will not be eligible for the free BlackBerry 8520 offer while stocks last).

A formal authorization letter or a rate plan adjustment form must be submitted prior to the activation of the new plan. 

9. Under the Digi Talk Plans, are postpaid customers able to DIGI-ROAM?

Yes, postpaid customers are able to DIGI-ROAM with these new plans. However, Roaming minutes are not included in the bundled minutes.

10. How would the monthly fees be indicated to the customer’s?

Customers will see the monthly subscription fee applied on their bill. 

If the plan is activated mid-cycle then the subscription fee and minutes available will be prorated.

All other charges will be indicated on the monthly bill provided by Digicel.

11.   With the Digi Talk Plans, do minutes and SMS bundles roll over?

The Digi Talk Unlimited Plan gives you Unlimited* minutes and SMS for each billing cycle and as a result at the beginning of each billing cycle your usage will be reset.

12.  If I am credit limit barred am I still able to use the service?

As long as there are free minutes available in bundle calls can be made.

13.  What is the contract period for the Digi Talk Unlimited Plan?

Customers who activate the Digi Talk Unlimited plan can do so in 12 month periods. (Customers wanting to avail of the Free BlackBerry Handset offer must activate service for a 24 month period.)

14. Is there a Fair Usage Policy in place for the Digi Talk Unlimited Plan?

Yes! In an effort to deter abuse of Digi Talk Unlimited Plan there is a Fair Usage Policy in place for Local Fixed Line Calling, US/UK Fixed and Canada calling as well as Local SMS to other mobiles.

·         Fair usage policy limit of 2000 minutes applies to Local fixed line calling and US, UK Fixed line, Canada calling in total.

·         Fair usage policy limit of 1000 SMS applies to Digi to Local OMO SMS.
