To activate our Prepaid Blackberry Service, please follow instructions below

ACTIVATION

Step 1

·         Dial *136#

You will receive a text message with instructions on how to choose the plan you want to activate

Step 2

There are three plan options to suit your budget – Full BlackBerry Service Access, LITE BlackBerry Access and SOCIAL BlackBerry Access. Each option provides 7 or 30 days of full, messaging or social Blackberry Internet Service respectively.

·         Dial *136*bundle code# to activate one of three Prepaid Blackberry bundles available.

(Bundle Code is 10 for BIS Full; 20 for BIS LITE; 30 for BIS SOCIAL)

·         Dial *136*10# to activate the BlackBerry Internet Bundle

·         Dial *136*20# to activate the BlackBerry Messaging Bundle

·         Dial *136*30# to activate the BlackBerry Social Bundle

You will receive a message to confirm plan and associated charges. 

Step 3

Once the bundle is selected, customers must confirm the duration of the bundle.

·         Dial *136*10# to activate the bundle selected for 7 days

·         Dial *136*30# to activate the bundle selected for 30 days

You will receive a message to confirm plan and associated charges. 

Step 4

·         Dial *136*1# to confirm plan, or *136*9# to cancel

·         You must ensure that you have sufficient credit to sign up for the plan. If you do, the credit is immediately deducted.

Step 5

After receiving the text message please remove and replace your battery from your phone to ensure your service is registered on the network.

Activation process is now complete.

Step 6

Once you are registered with the service, you will receive a prompt with instructions to set up your email account if applicable. You can also go to the ‘Email Settings’ icon to set up your email if applicable.

       REACTIVATION

You will receive a text message regarding the expiry of your service the day before your plan expires.

 You can choose to reactivate your existing plan, or switch to another plan to change the number of days of your Digicel Prepaid Blackberry service.

OPTION 1

To reactivate or change your plan, dial *136#.

Activation Tips

Follow the instructions provided in the text messages as they will indicate how to proceed.

During the activation process, you can cancel your request using *136*9#. However, you will not be able to cancel your plan once you have completed activation.

If you do not receive the prompt to set up email, you can set up your account using the email settings icon on your blackberry, or by visiting the following website: www.digicel.blackberry.com and select “Create New Account”

You may not be able to setup your email account if your blackberry device is registered to another network and another email account already exists on the device
