Phone Settings

GPRS , stands for General Packet Radio service, and is a protocol for passing data over a mobile phone network.  GPRS offers what has become known as “always on” data connection for GSM mobile phones, allowing for faster browsing of internet content, and faster access to online services such as WAP and email.

MMS, stands for Multimedia Messaging Service, and more commonly referred to as ‘Picture Messaging’. MMS is an enhancement over the standard SMS text message as it adds animation, images, sound and video. MMS runs over GPRS. You normally need to have 'MultiMedia Messaging' enabled by your network operator. You will need a phone handset that supports the MMS service.
